When you visit our website www.fwcbranson.org, mobile application, and use our services, you trust us with your personal information. We take your privacy very seriously. In this privacy notice, we describe our privacy policy. We seek to explain to you in the clearest way possible what information we collect, how we use it and what rights you have in relation to it. Information We Collect

Automatic Collection of Anonymous Information

In Short: Some information – such as IP address and/or browser and device characteristics – is collected automatically when you visit our Sites or Apps.

For each visitor to our webpage, our web server automatically recognizes the consumer’s domain name, if any, and collects the date and time of visit, the client IP address, and referring site. We collect the information above, as well as email addresses from visitors who choose to provide them, the email addresses of those who communicate with us via email, and information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations.  This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Sites or Apps, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

Personal information you disclose to us

In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us such as name, address, contact information, passwords and security data, payment information, and social media login data.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when registering at the Sites or Apps, expressing an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, when participating in activities on the Sites or Apps (such as posting messages in our online forums or entering conferences or giveaways) or otherwise contacting us. 

The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Sites or Apps, the choices you make and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect can include the following:

    •   Name and Contact Data. We collect your first and last name, email address, postal address, phone number, and other similar contact data.

If you choose to register in this way, we will collect the Information described in the section called “How do we handle your social logins” below.

Faith and Wisdom and its third-party service providers may also use a variety of technologies that passively or automatically collect information about how the sites are accessed and used, including your browser type, device type, operating system, application version, the pages served to you, the time you browse, preceding page views, and your use of features or applications on the sites. This statistical data helps us understand what is interesting and relevant to users of the site so we can best tailor our content.

Content: One reason people use Faith and Wisdom’s website is to share content with others. Examples include updating your status, uploading or taking photos, recording a video, sharing a link, creating an event or a group, making a comment, writing something or sending someone a message. If you do not want us to store metadata associated with content, please remove the metadata before uploading the content.

Pixels or Web Beacons: We also use web beacons or pixel tags, which are transparent graphic images placed on a webpage or in an email and indicate that a page or email has been viewed or to tell your browser to get content from another server. These may provide confirmation to us when you open an email from us.

Information collected through our Apps

In Short: We may collect information regarding your geo­location, mobile device, push notifications, when you use our apps.  Most mobile devices allow you to turn off location services or push notifications. If you consent to location services, we will collect information about the Wi-Fi routers closest to you and the cell IDs of the towers closest to you to provide the requested location-based service, not to identify you.

If you use our App, we may also collect the following information:

    •   Geo­Location Information: We may request access or permission to and track location ­based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using our mobile application, to provide location ­based services. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings.

    •   Mobile Device Access: We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device’s bluetooth, calendar, camera, reminders, sms messages, social media accounts, and other features. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings.

    •   Mobile Device Data: We may automatically collect device information (such as your mobile device ID, model and manufacturer), operating system, version information and IP address.

    •   Push Notifications: We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or the mobile application. If you wish to opt­out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device’s settings.

Information collected from other sources

In Short: We may collect limited data from public databases, marketing partners, social media platforms, and other outside sources.

We may obtain information about you from other sources, such as public databases, joint marketing partners, social media platforms (such as Facebook), as well as from other third parties. Examples of the information we receive from other sources include: social media profile information (your name, gender, birthday, email, current city, state and country, user identification numbers for your contacts, profile picture URL and any other information that you choose to make public); marketing leads and search results and links, including paid listings (such as sponsored links).

Use of Information

In Short: We process your information for purposes based on legitimate business interests, the fulfillment of our contract with you, compliance with our legal obligations, and/or your consent.

The anonymous and personal information we collect is used for internal review, to improve the content of our web pages, and to contact consumers for informational, marketing and commercial purposes, and it is not shared with other organizations for any purpose, except those circumstances stated below:

In the event of such a merger or acquisition, we reserve the right to disclose your personal information to the other business entity pursuant to the terms of this privacy policy.

Faith and Wisdom Church, like many organizations, may utilize third-party service providers for some routine services such as promotional mailings. In such cases, Faith and Wisdom Church provides only the information necessary to ensure the service is delivered and requires that the service provider sign a non-disclosure agreement agreeing to keep the customer’s information confidential and secure and limiting its use to the purpose for which it was disclosed. After the service provider has completed the service, the service provider must either destroy the information or return it to Faith and Wisdom Church.

Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect, maintain or use personally identifiable information submitted to the site by children under 13 years of age. If you are under age 13, please do not attempt to register on Faith and Wisdom Church website, or provide any personal information about yourself to us. If we become aware that a child under 13 years of age has submitted personally identifiable information to the site, we will not use that information and will immediately delete the information from its record.
